Our business is growing and we want you to join us.

Due to an internal promotion, we are seeking a professional, highly motivated and qualified Administrator to join our team in our Lawnton office.

Established in 1981, J&D Contracting is a quality accredited Brisbane based company providing a complete range of building maintenance and disability services for government and private sector clients throughout Queensland.

**What you'll be doing**:
You'll be working closely with the Vacants Carpenters and Supervisors to ensure the successful allocation and completion of all job activities - including financial, quality and safety outcomes. You will be building and maintaining external customer relationships, and those with our Supervisors, Trades and Sub-contractors.
- Work closely with the Maintenance Manager and Vacant Supervisors to ensure the smooth running of works
- Job creation and set up in simPRO
- Issuing purchase orders to suppliers
- Preparation of sale invoices
- Following up with Supervisors to ensure all certifications are received
- Keep customers updated and satisfied through having a good understanding of their needs and requirements for the job
- Proactively participate in meetings to ensure desirable outcomes are reached
- Identifying areas of potential improvement in order to further develop the integrity of the Vacants team
- Ensuring staff and sub-contractors are aligned with OH&S obligations

Please note that the successful applicant will be required to maintain regular working hours, starting from 7:30am.

You've worked in a similar industry and team before and have the confidence to hit the ground running in this role. Your priority is getting the job done efficiently and effectively, ensuring constant improvement in your skills. Ideally you have:

- Experience in an administration role within the construction industry
- Experience using simPRO highly regarded
- Strong organisational skills
- Ability to maintain accurate records and database management skills
- High level of attention to detail
- Ability to adapt and remain flexible
- Willingness to learn and grow on the job, your priority is always improving
