We are seeking a proactive and organised Repairs & Maintenance Coordinator to join our small, friendly, and supportive team at a well-established retirement village in Springwood. You'll play a key role in ensuring our village remains a safe, well-maintained, and welcoming community for our residents.

About the Role

You will be responsible for coordinating repairs and maintenance tasks across the village, managing our tracking system to ensure works are logged, actioned, and updated promptly. The role includes both hands-on general maintenance duties (such as changing light bulbs, cleaning/testing smoke alarms) and coordinating trades for more complex works.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain the repairs and maintenance tracking system
  • Coordinate and schedule trades and contractors
  • Carry out basic maintenance and repair duties
  • Ensure all works are completed to a high standard and within required timeframes
  • Maintain strong communication with residents and the team regarding works in progress
  • Occasionally travel to our Carindale village to assist as required

Desirable Experience & Skills

  • Experience in the building or construction industry
  • Previous experience in a similar maintenance coordination role
  • Hands-on skills for small repairs and general maintenance tasks
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills (essential)
  • Computer savvy, with the ability to quickly learn new systems (essential)
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills (essential)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team (essential)
