**About the role**

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced NPD professional looking for a leadership position within our NPD Team based out of our Arndell Park site. This is a very exciting time for the business as we continue to expand our offering and build upon our relationships with major supermarkets.

Key tasks of this role include:

- Provide guidance,support and direction to a team of Development Technologists
- Project manage and allocate resources across NPD/EPD launches for the business
- Oversee and lead the development process from concept to launch
- Lead meetings with key stakeholders to track projects and ensure timelines are met
- Drive continuous improvement within NPD team, processes and procedures
- Ensure you and the team effectively utilise Product development systems
- Review and approve relevant documentation for sample submissions to customers
- Actively participate in presentations to customers

**About you**

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced NPD professional with strong technical knowledge and the ability to provide proactive and high-quality service to both internal and external stakeholders. This position would suit a passionate foodie with a strong understanding of emerging food and flavour trends in FMCG.
- Tertiary qualifications in Food Science or equivalent
- Minimum of 5 years previous experience in a similar role and leading teams
- Highly motivated and self-driven with outstanding attention to detail
- Demonstrated success in managing and developing a high performing team
- Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal
- Visionary and creative thinker with strong problem-solving skills
- Curiosity for food and new product development
