Marketing Strategist Role:

As a senior marketing professional, you will be responsible for developing and implementing commercialization strategies for designated brands and projects within the ANZ cluster.

  • Craft local brand strategies that align with global brand and segment goals.
  • Manage assigned brand's profit and loss (P&L).
  • Analyse customer and consumer data to provide insights and recommendations to global and regional team leads.
  • Lead commercialization and launch phases of new product developments (NPDs) and manage global cross-functional NPD taskforces.
  • Contribute to concept development and adapt/adopt graphics for assigned brands.
  • Oversee end-to-end NPD creation and management.
  • Develop and lead local go-to-market planning and strategy.
  • Brief partnering agencies, ensure execution, and conduct post-campaign analysis.
  • Participate actively in brand sales and operations planning (S&OP) processes.
  • Collaborate with sales teams on consumer and trade promotions for assigned brands or segments.
  • Track sales and shares for assigned brands, segments, or projects; monitor NPD performance and course correct as necessary.
  • Work with product supply teams on managing stock-keeping units (SKUs) and slow-moving products for assigned brands or segments.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in commercial marketing roles within FMCG.
  • Strong brand management expertise within FMCG/consumer goods industries.
  • Demonstrated expertise in commercializing initiatives with excellence.
  • Commercial acumen, including thorough understanding of brand P&L, demand forecasting, and P&L scenario planning.
  • Experience managing media processes and understanding strategic and tactical business aspects.
  • Strong analytical and project management skills.
  • University degree, ideally in business or marketing fields.
