About the job

We currently have a great opportunity for a suitably qualified senior professional to join the Pinjarra Refinery as the Central Services Manager. You will be an integral member of the leadership team responsible for all management aspects of Central Maintenance across safety, environment, maintenance service delivery, contracting services, people and budgeting.

You contribute to the broader Alcoa equipment management by representing the refinery in forums established to ensure best practice across out business. You will lead and manage the Central Services department so that they provide a safe and efficient service to the refinery. This group comprises a large percentage of our total Refinery employees including Planned and Unplanned Shift Maintenance, Transport and Crane personnel, EI Maintenance teams and contractor management

This is a large role which requires well-developed leadership skills, flexibility and tenacity to manage in an environment of constant challenge and continuous improvement

- Dedicated to building, implementing and leading systems that will be sustainable and value adding for our business,- Excellent communication, interpersonal and a passion for safety of people and work practices,- Well-developed leadership skills and ability to build and sustain team culture and mutual respect,- Who can manage and think strategically and operationally for maximum efficiency of the area,- Confident, innovative and with an eye for business and successful track record,- Capable of leading multiple projects and tasks in an efficient manner,- With a deep understanding of Daily Visual Management, Business Improvement and be an organisation change agent,- Tertiary qualifications in the science/engineering and business management fields, as well as a solid understanding of Maintenance Strategies is highly desirable.
