Inwards & Dispatch Coordinator - Laverton North VIC

Job Description / The Role Are you an organised and detail-oriented individual with a passion for logistics and customer service. Toll is seeking an Inwards & Dispatch Coordinator professional to join our dynamic team. In this role, you'll play a key part in managing the flow of transport operations to enable the collections and distribution of all transport loads, ensuring smooth unloading and dehire of containers, pallet control and providing exceptional service to both internal and external customers.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily transport operations, including listing containers, tracking incoming and outgoing shipments, and overseeing unloading processes.- Ensure all necessary documentation for container movements, invoices, and shipping details, are accurately prepared and processed.- Induct new drivers, provide them with the necessary training, and ensure they are directed to the correct work areas.- Maintain and update container registers and ensure timely dehire of containers.- Communicate with external container carriers, transport companies, and internal teams to ensure smooth and efficient workflows.- Generate required paperwork for deliveries and pickups, and ensure all regulatory requirements are met.- Oversee pallet control services, ensuring all pallets are accounted for and returned.

What you'll need to succeed:
- Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and RF-based systems.- Strong organisational, customer service, and communication skills.- Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines efficiently.- Knowledge of vehicle loading capacities and distribution processes.- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accuracy in all tasks.- Proactive with the ability to resolve issues and make decisions quickly.- Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently.- A results-driven, customer-focused approach to work.
