We are looking for a passionate and experienced ecology professional to lead our high-performing team in NSW as a Practice Leader – Ecology. Preferred locations are Sydney or Newcastle, although there is the potential for this role to be based in other parts of NSW as well. The Role
As Practice Leader – Ecology, you will lead our talented ecology team, delivering meaningful environmental outcomes for clients while guiding the team's strategic and commercial growth.
This Is a Hands-on Role, Where You Will
Lead, mentor and inspire a team of ecological professionalsDevelop and implement business development and growth strategiesDrive delivery of significant projects and multidisciplinary programsProvide high-level ecological expertise, reporting, and advisory supportEngage with clients, regulators and community stakeholders to communicate science and deliver valueCollaborate across RPS teams to capitalise on inter-disciplinary opportunities

What You'll Bring
We are seeking a respected technical leader with:A degree in ecology, environmental science or a related disciplineA minimum of 7 years' relevant experience in ecological consulting, project delivery and team leadershipProven experience in managing technical projects and professional services teamsStrong commercial acumen, with a track record in business development and client engagementAbility to navigate complexity, solve problems and deliver innovative, commercially viable solutions
