We have an exciting opportunity for passionate and motivated individuals to join United for Care in the position of **Senior **Practice Lead.**

**About the position**
The Senior Practice Lead oversees the operations of their site under broad direction from the Regional Manager to ensure effective and efficient service delivery.
The Senior Practice Lead will support staff though role modelling, coaching and supervision. In addition, the Senior Practice Lead is responsible for providing customers with support that is in line with the customers' goals and NDIS SIL plans as well as assisting them to live independently The key responsibilities include:
- Lead and model effective person-centered practices
- Provide direction, coaching and development opportunities to your team to address learning needs and build capability.
- Support the team to provide high quality services are assessed, planned, evaluated and delivered in line with participant care plans, goals and outcomes.
- Develop fortnightly rosters where required, allocating staff according to contract hours, planned leave and the participants rosters of care.
- Provide effective onboarding, site orientation and training to new employees to support their engagement and learning journey.
- Ensure timely data collection and analysis to identify trends in client support needs for the purpose of funding support.
- Monitor and implement process and protocols to ensure appropriate reporting to governing bodies.
- Conduct regular team meetings and monthly practice supervision and for each team member, escalating issues to ensure continuity of service and quality of support. Raise concerns to Regional Manager.
- Support staff in understanding and managing customer risks coordinate on-site supports and review of incidents and complaints in consultation with the Regional Manager.
- Work with Property Management for site maintenance, audits and work health and safety requirements.
**About You**
Your will have a deep commitment to improving the lives of people with disability and a track record of driving business growth. You will bring to this role:
- Tertiary qualifications (minimum certificate IV) in Mental Health, Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy or other health related field.
- Experience and expertise in working directly with people with mental health issues, complex needs, and with their families and carers.
- Demonstrated capacity to effectively lead, coach and develop a team to achieve best quality service outcomes including experience in the provision of professional supervision.
- Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team, incorporating effective planning, time management, problem solving, organisational skills, resourcing, and achieving quality outcomes.
- Demonstrated ability to plan and priorities to meet customer service delivery requirements.
- Demonstrated understanding of available community services, networks and supports.
- Awareness and understanding of the NDIS (desirable)
