This role plays a crucial role in organizing, packing and shipping orders accurately and timely.Key responsibilities for this role include:Assist in the picking, packing, and labelling of products for shipment.Ensure accuracy and completeness of all orders before they are dispatched.Material handling activities including unloading of trucks and containers.Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.Assist in inventory management and stock replenishment activities.Collaborate with other team members to streamline distribution processes and improve efficiency.Always adhere to GMP and safety procedures and guidelines.The ideal candidates considered for this role are: Recently completed high school certification; orA seasoned Warehouse worker; orIndividuals keen to learn more about; Warehousing, Manufacturing & Distribution within the Pharmaceutical sector; orAn individual with strong administrative background proficient in using different technology and software.The minimum qualifications for this role are: Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution environment is preferred but not required.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Experience working with Microsoft suite – particularly excel is highly desirable.Current Forklift Ticket is preferred but not required – Viatris will cover the affiliate cost of this if not currently in possession following completion of your probationary period.Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.Must be eligible to work in Australia (Australian Citizen or appropriate Visa holder)Good communication and teamwork skills.Ability to lift moderately heavy objects and stand for extended periods.Exclusive Viatris Benefits: Employee rewards and discount platform Annual wellness allowance Recognition programs Benefits for health and financial wellness Corporate deals with vendors including superannuation fund and health insuranceViatris Product loyalty program Free annual flu vaccination 2 days of paid volunteer leave per annum Additional paid parental leave Career and development planning for continuous growth and learning Retirement savings plans Annual leave loading, as well as paid additional bereavement leavePosition Title: Distribution AssistantLocation: BundambaEmployment: Daytime work shiftAt Viatris, we offer competitive salaries, benefits and an inclusive environment where you can use your experiences, perspectives and skills to help make an impact on the lives of others.
