**Brisbane Marriott Hotel**is currently seeking a thoughtful and dynamic individual to join our Front Office team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Part-Time position working mainly at our Concierge.

**Position Summary**:

- Assist with Concierge duties including; Valet parking cars, assisting with guest luggage and deliveries whilst taking a proactive approach to assist the rooms division wherever needed
- Handle general enquiries, engage and inspire guests through each guest experience
- Be fully conversant at all times with activities and facilities within the hotel, operating hours, costs, etc., as well as all aspects of Brisbane and its services, specifically tourist attractions, restaurants, theatre, shopping, etc.
- Ensure the foyer areas, driveways and Porte cochere are in a spotless condition at all times.
- Ensure the Concierge Desk is adequately stocked with stationery and all other requirements, eg. maps, tourist information, etc
- Valet park cars taking the utmost care as per departmental procedure.
- Build and strengthen relationships with existing and new customers, anticipating their needs and enabling future bookings
- Support your Front Office team with general operational tasks
- Be an expert on the hotel and the surrounding area, know it inside and out to exceed guest expectations and fuel their curiosity
- Be the "face of the hotel" - engaging and inspiring guests through each guest interaction from arrival to departure
- Respond to guest enquiries for special arrangements or services including but not limited to transportation, reservations and dry cleaning
- Assist the Front Office and Executive Lounge team in general operational tasks whilst supporting other front office associates
- Ensure all guest's requirements and requests are anticipated and completed in a timely manner
- Ensure you and the team uphold all company policies and procedures and complete all required tasks in a prompt & thorough manner

**About You**:

- A current driver's license
- Relevant experience in a similar role
