**Apprentice Boilermaker / Welder Required for a Structural Steel Fabricator**
- Interpret technical drawing and perform engineering measurements
- Assemble fabricated components
- Supporting tradespeople, contractors and operators with general labouring assistance
- Operating power tools and equipment, cleaning/preparing worksites
- Shop priming of newly fabricated structural steel
- Loading & unloading trucks

Full Time - 10 hour shifts per day | Monday to Friday

Rate of pay: (Depending on experience)

Year 1 : 55% =$ 14.94

Year 2 : 65% = $17.68

Year 3 : 75% = $20.40

Yr 4 : C12 = $25.17

**Please note: This is a C10-Manufacturing Tradesperson Level 1 Award**

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Forklift License
- White Card
- Previous steel fabrication experience and mechanical aptitude highly regarded
- Steel fabrication industry background advantage
- Great work ethic and commitment to seeing a project through to the end
- Genuine commitment to safety policies and procedures
- Reliable transport
- Industrial painting experience (spray painting) would be rewarded but not necessary

**Job requirements**
- Cert II Pre-apprenticeship in Engineering Fabrication Trade
- Own transport requirement

**Job Type**: Apprenticeship

**Salary**: $14.94 - $25.17 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
