About the business

Maxwell Engineering is a large family run fabrication workshop in Hoppers Crossing. We specialize in Steel Fabrication, Site Installation and Shutdown Labour for our clients.

About the role

We are seeking fully qualified Boilermakers, Maintenance fitters and Fitter/Machinists with CNC programming experience preferably for immediate start.

You will be working in a friendly environment at our Hoppers Crossing Workshop and may be required to work at our on-site client's facilities performing various maintenance and shutdown jobs.

Suitable applicants will need to be self-starters and be able to work unsupervised at times.

Full Time placement will be offered to the successful applicant after a trial period for 3 months on a Casual Basis.

Skills and experience

  • Boilermaker & Fitter/Machinist:

Australian Trade qualifications required.

A minimum of 3 years' experience post apprenticeship.

Must be proficient in TIG, Mig and stick welding.

Lathe, Milling & Horizontal Boring experience will also be looked upon favourably.

Additional licences required.
