Apprentice Boilermaker Opportunity

This role offers a hands-on learning environment where you can develop your skills and knowledge in welding, fabrication, and structural projects.

As a Second Year Apprentice Boilermaker, you will work on various tasks, including rotating through the power station and mine maintenance teams. You will also complete trade training through TAFE Gippsland and site-based work.

  • Work on a variety of projects that involve welding, fabrication, and structural repairs
  • Rotate through different teams to gain experience and knowledge
  • Complete formal training at TAFE and site-based work

You will have the opportunity to learn and perform a range of repairs, installations, and maintenance on plant, equipment, and machinery within the Power Station. All work and development are performed under strict supervision and guidance of qualified trade employees, including modules of learning through an accredited external provider.

Key Requirements
  • Have successfully completed first year of a Boilermaker apprenticeship in 2025
  • Have technical aptitude and commitment to undertake formal training at TAFE
  • Demonstrate safety awareness and practical aptitude
  • Be passionate about the trade and eager to develop skills
  • Be safety-conscious, punctual, and a team player
  • Have strong work ethic, excellent communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Hold current driver's license (preferred but not essential)
