Add expected salary to your profile for insightsWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Manager to lead a team on a luxury multi storey residential project on the Gold Coast.As the Site Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful completion of the project while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.Responsibilities:Oversee and manage all on-site activities, ensuring compliance with construction program, plans, specifications, and all OH&S and regulatory requirementsCoordinate and supervise subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery of materials and servicesDevelop monthly lookahead program and monitor project progress, including tracking milestones, budgets, and schedules, and providing regular reports to senior managementConduct regular site inspections to identify and resolve any buildability and/or OH&S issues or concerns arising during constructionCollaborate closely with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to address design changes, resolve conflicts, and maintain effective communication throughout the projectRequirements:Proven experience as a General Foreman in the construction industry, with a focus on luxury residential buildsCert III in Carpentry (not essential but preferred)Strong knowledge of construction methods, techniques, and safety regulationsExcellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse teamExceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities, even under pressureEffective communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise with stakeholders at all levelsProficiency in using construction management software and Microsoft Office toolsProficiency and willingness to undertake limited, skilled manual work onsite where shortfall in subcontracting or rated works existsThis role requires a reliable, motivated individual who works well within a small team.
