We are seeking a highly skilled Site Manager to lead a team on a luxury residential project.

The successful candidate will oversee all on-site activities, ensuring compliance with construction plans, specifications and regulations.

Key responsibilities include coordinating subcontractors, suppliers and site personnel, developing monthly lookahead programs and monitoring project progress.

Regular site inspections will be conducted to identify and resolve buildability and/or OH&S issues.

Collaboration with architects, engineers and other stakeholders is essential to address design changes and maintain effective communication throughout the project.

This role requires a reliable, motivated individual who works well within a small team.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a General Foreman in the construction industry, with a focus on luxury residential builds
  • Cert III in Carpentry (not essential but preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, techniques and safety regulations
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team
  • Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities, even under pressure
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise with stakeholders at all levels
  • Proficiency in using construction management software and Microsoft Office tools
  • Proficiency and willingness to undertake limited, skilled manual work onsite where shortfall in subcontracting or rated works exists
