Senior Site Manager

Due to recent project awards and a strong pipeline of future work opportunities, we are excited to announce that our team is continuing to grow. We are seeking an experienced site supervisor/foreman who will be working on projects based across South East QLD.
- Conducting site inspections to ensure quality and safety outcomes.
- Be responsible for coordinating subcontractors onsite.
- Managing a workforce of supervision, labour, and subcontractors.
- Working autonomously at times and also coordinating internal and external resources.
- Ensuring projects are completed efficiently, effectively, and to high standards.
- Maintaining and communicating regular program updates to the project team and subcontractors.
- Maintaining daily records and diaries, and assisting the engineering team with cost control and productivity tracking.
- Coordinating relationships between various trades and ensuring sub-contractors carry out work safely and efficiently.
- Liaising with clients and stakeholders in a professional manner to maintain a positive reputation.
- Participating in regular WHS inspections and injury/incident investigations and maintaining a healthy and safe work environment.
- Ensuring environmental controls are suitable and implemented, monitored, and reviewed.
- A proven history of working alongside a team of engineers, but also has the ability to manage a site with minimal input.
- Extensive experience in civil construction (3 years minimum experience in a similar role).
- Solid foundation in typical civil works including earthworks, flexible and rigid pavements, buried services, infrastructural, formed structural concrete, landscaping, and other unique civil and infrastructure type projects.
- Being competent in understanding, reviewing, and working to project Drawings and Specifications.
- A person who is enthusiastic, self-motivated, and quality-driven with a focus also on efficiency.
- Relevant civil background and competencies.
- Excellent communication skills - both oral and written.
- Willingness to lead and motivate team members.
- Commitment and understanding of the importance of time and financial goals.
