**Industrial and Employee Relations (IR/ER) Manager**

**About the Role**
Reporting directly to the Group Manager People and Culture, the purpose of the IR/ER Manager is to support the business with employment and industrial relations issues, case management, end to end partnering with managers, assist the HR team on complex matters that may arise, and to ensure the best outcomes for our Arcare culture as well as supporting the HR team in Induction Workshops, HR projects and EBA negotiations. The IR/ER Manager will be based in our Head Office in Hampton East and will be required to travel both regional and occasionally interstate
**Responsibilities include, but not limited to;**
- Lead and support the business through case management and investigation from initiation to resolution
- Experience in advocacy or representation within the Fair Work Commission or other relevant regulatory bodies
- Provide advice on employee relations issues to key stakeholders in order to ensure appropriate business outcomes
- Stay abreast of internal policy and external legislation / trends / cases in order to provide expertise in all matters of employment legislation
- Facilitate training across HR and Business Teams to enhance Employee Relations knowledge
- Provide key insights and analysis on emerging trends to determine root cause of issues and reduce matters arising
- Work closely with the HR team to deliver integrated Employee Relations support to the business
- Ensure that Arcare complies with relevant IR, EBA, EEO, OH&S and training obligations;
- Participate in Enterprise Bargaining Agreement (EBA) negotiations;
- Facilitate education in line with Human Resources objectives and promote Employee Initiatives;
- Coordinate transactional processes with accuracy and in a timely manner;
- Assist the People and Development portfolios with administrative
**Skills and Experience**
- Relevant Tertiary qualifications
- 5+ years' experience in an IR/ER role (desirable)
- Previous Enterprise Bargaining Agreement (EBA) experience (desirable)
- Previous experience in a similar position in Health, community or aged care sector (desirable)
- Previously set the IR/ER strategy for the business, negotiated agreements
- High level of knowledge and understanding of employment and industrial relations legislation and regulations
- Strong customer service focus with the ability to collaborate, influence and foster a positive environment at all levels
- High levels of motivation and excellent time management, planning and organisational skills
- A flexible and adaptable approach to changing demands within the business
- Strong relationship management background
- Great Problem-solving skills and quantitative skills
- Current Police Clearance and Statutory Declaration
- Current Drivers Licence and own vehicle
