**About the Clinical Education Unit**

The Clinical Education Unit (CEU) is responsible for clinical education governance at Austin Health within a Best Practice Clinical Learning Environment. The CEU has three pillars of education: Allied Health, Medicine and Nursing. Each pillar has a leader who is responsible for education and ensuring the workforce is well positioned to meet the National Safety and Quality in Health Service Standards. This integrated approach to education and training aims to ensure that Austin Health has knowledgeable, skilled staff which is reflected in the quality of care to our patients. The CEU has a dedicated education precinct based in the Austin tower complex as well as a state of the art Simulation Centre.

**About the role**

The Learning Technology Administrator position is responsible for assisting with the administrative requirements relating to learning technology services for Austin Health, specifically regarding enquiries, set up and maintenance of user accounts, courses, certifications and programs in the Austin Learning Management System (LMS). The role provides support to ensure a focus on delivering excellent service for users and stakeholders in the LMS system and the effective use of new and emerging technologies to enhance learning.

A regular day will see you:

- Providing administrative support to the learning technology services team
- Providing support regarding learning methodology
- Ensuring a consistently high level of customer service in all internal and external communication

**About you**

You will have previous experience in a systems help desk role, and prioritise customer service when communicating with stakeholders. You enjoy problem solving to find solutions, documenting processes, and have attention to detail.

To be successful in this role you'll bring with you:

- Experience administering an LMS/IT system within a large complex environment (Experience with Totara or Moodle LMS strongly preferred), or systems support desk customer service
- Highly developed communication, organisational and interpersonal skills including the ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team to facilitate best practice
- Be self-motivated with clear self-direction and ability to manage a service autonomously
- Ability to write user documentation and ability to organise and conduct system performance testing
