Job Title: Support Officer, Learning And Teaching

About The Role

This is a full-time, continuing appointment that involves providing comprehensive support to university staff engaged in developing and delivering face-to-face and online courses.

  • Monitoring job requests and troubleshooting eLearning support requests and incidents
  • Supporting administrative functions within the Learning Management System, ePortfolio, Video Capture and Streaming Server, Virtual Classrooms and Plagiarism Prevention
  • Undertaking operational tasks to assist staff and student use of learning technologies
  • Producing and contributing to the development of instructional resources for staff and students
  • Delivering introductory training sessions to staff and students on the technical knowledge required to use eLearning technologies
Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will possess:

  • Proven experience in providing eLearning technology support and eLearning development in a higher education setting
  • Demonstrated experience in supporting and administering various eLearning technology software applications
  • Capacity to undertake routine technical tasks within Learning Management Systems
  • Experience in delivering staff training in the use of learning technologies to support sound pedagogical models and practices
  • Experience in developing comprehensive support resources to assist staff and students
