About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Learning Technology Administrator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our learning technology services team. This includes assisting with enquiries, setting up and maintaining user accounts, courses, certifications, and programs in our Austin Learning Management System (LMS). Your primary goal will be to ensure excellent service delivery for users and stakeholders within the LMS system while leveraging new and emerging technologies to enhance learning.

A typical day will involve:

  • Providing administrative support to the learning technology services team
  • Supporting learning methodology initiatives
  • Ensuring consistently high levels of customer service in internal and external communication

To succeed in this position, you will require:

  • Previous experience in a systems help desk role, prioritizing customer service in stakeholder interactions
  • Ability to problem-solve, document processes, and maintain attention to detail

You will also need to possess highly developed communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, enabling you to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team to achieve best practice results. Additionally, self-motivation, clear self-direction, and the ability to manage a service autonomously are essential qualities for success in this role.

The ideal candidate will have experience administering an LMS/IT system within a large complex environment, preferably with Totara or Moodle LMS. If not, experience in systems support desk customer service is equally valuable. Your ability to write user documentation and organize system performance testing will be highly beneficial.
