Team Global Express (TGE) are seeking the support of a high calibre HRIS Co-ordinator to join our team based at Karrawatha or Melbourne Airport. The intent of the People Services team is to optimise the HR offerings throughout the employee lifecycle by providing consistent and effective service to enable our Managers and People Services to succeed.
Working within the People Services team, the HRIS Coordinator is the first point of contact for HRIS-related queries and is responsible for providing quality customer focused services to internal and external customers.
As a People Services team member, you will develop strong relationships with multiple functions across Global Express including the People team, Workday Administration, Payroll, IT, Managers and Employees to ensure the professional and efficient operation of the overall People Services function.
Accountabilities
- Provide quality and timely People support to internal and external customers.
- Work collectively in managing daily role rotations effectively.
- Actively support the wider Global Express community with HRIS compliance.
- Ensure Global Express and legislative processes, standards and policies are complied with.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Actively support and execute compliance in the HRIS;
- On-board new employees
- Process change management
- Assist with troubleshoot errors and navigation
- Coach managers and HR in HRIS use
- Good knowledge of downstream systems.
- Escalate queries where appropriate to Workday Specialists, People Business Partners/Advisors, Centres of Expertise or People Leads.
- Maintain knowledge of People Services policies and procedures;
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives;
- Collaborate with the broader People teams (People BP/Advisors, People Analytics & Reporting, People Leads and Payroll);
- Ensure the day to day activities are provided in accordance with People Services KPI's and SLA's and provide feedback to improve function.

- Previous experience using Workday or similar HRIS system;
