Business Analysis Lead
We are seeking an experienced Business Analysis Lead to guide and deliver business analysis efforts on initiatives within our organisation. This role will be responsible for managing, mentoring and coaching a team of BAs.
The successful candidate will focus on high-level analysis, strategic guidance and ensuring alignment with organisational goals. They will bridge the gap between business needs and IT solutions, driving efficiency, reducing risks and delivering value to the organisation through improvements and solutions.
This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to facilitate decision-making across stakeholders. The successful candidate will have experience in delivery practices and tools, including Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
The key responsibilities of this role include:
Conducting strategic business analysis activities, including business case development, impact analysis, feasibility studies and defining project scope;
Leading analysis activities throughout the entire project lifecycle, including defining and managing scope, requirements elicitation, analysis and documentation, business process modelling, data modelling and mapping and associated prioritisation activities;
Collaborating with stakeholders to elicit, refine and manage requirements across their lifecycle to effectively meet business needs and contribute to organisational goals;
Identifying and engaging key stakeholders to build and maintain strong relationships, ensuring their needs are understood and addressed in a timely manner;
Communicating analysis findings, progress, recommendations and other project-centric material to stakeholders effectively;
Identifying opportunities to improve business processes and recommending solutions that enhance efficiency and effectiveness;
Identifying and assessing potential risks associated with project activities, business analysis activities and proposed solutions;
Mentoring and guiding a team of business analysts to foster their growth and professional development;
Actively engaging with the broader Business Analysis community by providing thought leadership, sharing analysis expertise and driving continuous improvement of the BA craft.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
A bachelor's degree and/or equivalent;
5-7 years of progressively responsible experience in business analysis;
Experience in delivery practices and tools (Waterfall/Agile, Jira);
Experience leading a small team of business analysts;
Experience working with structured BA frameworks;
Experience in the payments technology and financial industry.
