Job Description

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing innovative market products and propositions that drive business growth and value maximization.

This role requires a strong analytical mindset, with the ability to identify emerging trends, uncover optimization opportunities, and translate data into strategies that add measurable value to our clients.

The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of the Australian and global life insurance markets, as well as experience in leading data analysis efforts and presenting findings using statistical and visualization tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop local market products and propositions with an innovative approach.
  2. Identify trends and opportunities to enhance propositions; manage stakeholders; take ideas through early-stage development with a pragmatic, 'fail fast' approach.
  3. Collaborate with the Market Enablement and Protection teams to stay updated on relevant market developments.
  4. Lead data analysis efforts, focusing on trends affecting profitability and sales volumes.
  5. Present findings using statistical and visualization tools, providing data-driven recommendations to management and clients.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong technical experience in life (re)insurance.
  • Preferably a qualified actuary with relevant post-qualification experience.
  • Good understanding of the Australian and global life insurance markets.
  • Highly analytical with creative problem-solving skills; strong interpersonal and organizational abilities.
