Are you keen to plan, research, organise and execute a series of conferences in the assigned space in Australia?

Reporting to the Head of Media Group, we are looking for an **Event/Conference Producer ANZ** who has hands-on experience on assigning tasks, executing directions, and doing the heavy lifting to get the events started. This role also requires commercial acumen, the ability to work with internal and external stakeholders, sales team and sponsors, good articulation of value proposition of the event and the ability to drive workflows and processes independently.

**About the Role**

In this opportunity as Event/Conference Producer ANZ, you will:

- Plan, research, organise and execute a series of delegate-based and/or sponsorship-driven events in Australia, and/or any other markets as assigned.
- Strong research and organisation skills, ability to articulate clearly our value proposition and to deliver against our TR objectives.
- Deliver the events assigned to you successfully and profitability, showing growth in attendee, speakers and revenue over time.
- Providing clear achievements and milestone reporting to manager, internal and external stakeholders on a regular basis.
- Building and winning over, key speakers and experts in allocated industries and territories
- Building a high quality event through strong content, while working closely with sales and operations to ensure commercial success of event
- Event marketing - these are activities that promote the event to achieve commercial success and event attendance, including and not limited to, organising eDMs, building event microsite, liaising with sponsors, partnerships with associations, etc.
- Briefing sponsorship and telesales teams to equip sales reps with necessary knowledge to speak with customers fluently
- Collaboration and working across teams in Thomson Reuters Asia and cooperating closely with regard to both marketing for the events and event delivery

**About You**

You're a fit for the role of Event/Conference Producer ANZ if your background includes:

- Bachelor's degree in Media/Communications/Research or equivalent
- Able to demonstrate strong research abilities and quickly understand a wide range of topics and issues is a must. Experience in the legal, regulatory and compliance, human resources and tax industries advantageous.
- Focus on time management and ability to focus on assigned projects with clear, demonstrated results. This person should have experience in being part of an events production cycle from start to end, and possess skills of working with, and building a commercially successful event
- Possess an open mind to pick up commercial acumen, ability to navigate in a complex and dynamic environment
- Fluent English required, 1 other Asian language advantageous
