We currently have an opportunity for an exceptional individual to join our growing Cellular & Wireless team as a Installation Technician.

**About the Role**:
This role involves the installation of Distributed Antenna Systems and any other DAS, IBC and RF build activities on all sites.

**Responsibilities**

1. To install all elements of a Distributed Antenna System as directed by Comtex Management.

2. Review the Design Drawings and BOM (Bill of Materials) for installation suitability, and the latest MCF Standards and Guidelines for conformity. Immediately raise any concerns to the DAS Project Manager.

3. Perform regular quality checks on completed staged work, and request staged sign-off by the DAS Project Manager.

4. Inspect all tools and equipment on a daily basis for damage and functionality.

5. Daily completion of any on-site documentation requirements.

6. Maintaining document and certificate accreditation (white card, EWP, training certificates etc.). Any training requirements identified, will be provided where needed.

**Key Requirements**:
**1. **5+ years experience within the DAS and Communication industry (Desirable).

**2. **Excellent interpersonal skills with co-workers and Comtex Management.

**3. **Ability to use initiative for on-site problem solving. Able to identify issues, and provide a solution.

**4. **Technical knowledge of Communication materials and both RF Sweep test system (Anritsu) and PIM Tester (Kaelus) systems, and any other systems that may be required to perform duties (Desirable).

**5. **Ability to train other Comtex staff and apprentices in installation methods for RF materials and associated components.

**6. **A minimum basic understanding of RF principals (Desirable).

**7. **White card and Construction Industry certification (Desirable).

**8. **Thorough understanding of construction site procedures, toolbox talks and safety requirements.

**9. **Certification for the use of mechanical/plant devices EWP (Desirable, but can discuss training if required).

**Salary**: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Supplementary Pay:

- Overtime pay
- Penalty rates

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Sydney NSW: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)
