Wireless Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Wireless Infrastructure Specialist to support the installation, commissioning and integration of 4G/5G Radio Base Stations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Installation and testing of power supply units with battery banks and alarm testing.
  • Hands-on installation and commissioning of IBC/DAS systems from small repeater sites to large-scale sites.
  • Strong RF experience including PIM testing and sweep testing with IBC/DAS systems.
  • Ability to read network and building schematics.
  • Experience in installing passive and active antenna systems equipment.
  • Demonstrated ability to install and upgrade mobile infrastructure in line with relevant installation techniques, methods and standards.
  • Creation of as-built mark-ups following construction.
  • Accurate completion of handover packs.
Requirements for the Role:
  • Practical knowledge of DAS (Distributed Antenna Systems) installation and methodology.
  • DAS deployment experience is essential particularly in termination of coaxial connectors.
  • Trade qualification in data electronic electrical or communications or equivalent.
  • Competence in using PIM/Sweep/RF test equipment.
  • Current driver's license.
  • White card - construction.
