**Job Title:** Technical Support Specialist
We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our support team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experience across our customer base.
The successful candidate will have a strong technical background in cellular towers or wireless/RF technologies and be able to provide comprehensive tier 1 support throughout the customer lifecycle.
You will work closely with our National Sales Manager for the RF division to build offerings across cellular, two-way, microwave & laser technologies and provide technical backup.
We are looking for a practical person who is happy to pick up the phone and chat to a customer, gets excited about new technologies and enjoys providing solutions to a Tier 1 customer base.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical backup and comprehensive tier 1 support throughout the customer lifecycle
- Collect business and technical information from clients to help build business cases
- Complete and present quotes, proposals to prospective clients
- Collaborate with internal team members and proactively take an interest in, and contribution towards business development opportunities
Requirements:
- Tertiary qualification in electronic, electrical or communications engineering
- Experience or knowledge in the RF Field support
- Knowledge of advanced RF site builds, especially macro, IBD/DAS
- Two-way radio communication and telecommunications skills advantageous
