**About the role**:
The Group Supply Planning Manager is a full-time, permanent position based at our North Ryde Head Office.
Reporting to the General Manager for Planning this role is responsible for leading the Supply Planning team. The planning team perform an integral role in the IBP process, focussed on delivering optimal supply plans, balancing demand fulfilment across made and purchased products, meeting customer service, inventory and cost-to-serve targets The Supply Planning Manager will lead the team in the creation and delivery of these plans by providing support and guidance, as well as being a key business partner across projects and other initiatives.

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Champion and lead the supply planning process across all business units.
- Recruit, mentor, coach and develop planning team members in best-in-class planning processes.
- Develop and implement supply, production and inventory planning principles ensuring a feasible, balanced supply and production plan in units and funds are available as an input to the IBP processes.
- Preparation of standardised documentation to facilitate the supply planning process.
- Work with supply planners and schedulers to understand and build expertise within each channel for supply analysis and opportunity/risk assessments as well as validating planned outcomes and assumptions.
- Analyse gaps to plan for cause and impact, and challenge P&L owners to close any gaps.
- Escalates constrained demand, risks, and issues where necessary and ensures key callouts are included in subsequent IBP forums.
- Management of the Supply, Inventory & Production Planning data, tools and systems - supporting their maintenance and continuous improvement ensuring alignment to overarching planning principles

**About You**:

- 10+ years' experience in a supply planning role and/or IBP management role
- Tertiary qualifications in a business related field
- Demonstrated experience leading a newly established Supply Planning function within a complex, multi-segment manufacturing organisation.
- Demonstrated ability to define, Implement and influence senior stakeholders on improvement initiatives across supply, inventory and production planning processes.
- Experience in leading and developing a new team in high performance 'ways of working' whilst maximising engagement
- Experience working within an IBP planning framework.
- Experience working across complex business structures without direct line authority to deliver required business change.
- Excellent communication, presentation, partnership and influence skills, and ability to communicate and influence well to all levels within the organization.
- Expertise and experience in senior stakeholder management.
- Skilled in SAP, BI, and Microsoft Excel.
