**Security Operations Coordinator**

- This role supports the Director of Security & Safety in leading and developing RMH's strategic and operational security function. Ensuring the Security & Safety team provides a high-quality customer service that achieves a consistently safe environment for our people, patients/consumers, visitors, and other stakeholders.

**About the role**

Providing a 24/7 service to both the RMH City Campus and RMH Royal Park Campus, the RMH Security Department is a diverse and supportive team.
- Lead the security and safety team in day to day operational matters
- Assist with security portfolios including training programs, team development, technology upgrades, equipment and customer service management
- Facilitate daily shift security huddles, briefings, debriefings and attend meetings
- Develop and support team leaders and officers to a new level of capability, confidence and wellbeing
- Provide visible leadership to the security team
- Create a safety culture where people can speak up
- Undertake security risk assessments and implement any identified controls

**About you**

You have degree level qualification in relevant field or further qualifications in leadership, security risk, training or other related discipline, as well as:

- Security experience in the public or private sector with a demonstrated track record of managing security and safety teams
- Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills and a proven commitment to providing exceptional customer service
- Strong time management, outcome focused and able to deliver results to plan
- Excellent written and verbal communications skill
- Current and valid Security Licence as per Private Security Act 2004
- Current Victorian Drivers Licence
- Clear Criminal History Check and Working with Children Check
- Experience in a Healthcare environment is considered highly advantageous.
