About the Role: We seek dedicated Monitoring Centre Operators to join our head office team. This dynamic role offers a unique opportunity to actively participate in Australia's first live stolen vehicle recovery service, providing critical responses for both domestic and international operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Alarm & CCTV Monitoring: Proactively monitor alarms, CCTV, duress, and access control systems, ensuring swift and appropriate responses.

  • Inbound/Outbound Calls: Professionally handle emergency and routine communications with precision and empathy.

  • Vehicle Theft Recovery: Directly contribute to Australia's pioneering stolen vehicle recovery program.

  • Incident Coordination: Liaise effectively with emergency services, law enforcement, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless incident management.

  • Compliance and Documentation: Maintain meticulous records and uphold compliance standards in all interactions.

About You:

Essential:

  • Strong customer service background (experience in retail or call centres highly valued)

  • Minimum 2 years' experience working in security monitoring centres or control rooms

  • Exceptional communication skills in English, both written and verbal

  • Ability to remain calm under pressure, delivering precise and clear responses

  • Proven ability to work autonomously and as part of a cohesive team

  • High-level organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail

  • Competency in Microsoft Office suite

  • Exceptional computer literacy and technical proficiency, with the ability to quickly learn and navigate new systems and software tools.

Mandatory Qualifications:

  • Victorian Security Licence (Monitoring Centre or Control Room preferred)

  • Current Victorian Driver's Licence

  • Full working rights in Australia (Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident)

  • Must pass National Police Check and maintain clean record throughout employment

Highly Regarded:

  • Experience in alarm monitoring or similar roles

  • Familiarity with Patriot monitoring software

  • Certificate III in Security Operations (Monitoring & Control Room)

Shift Expectations:

Employees will work across a rotating 24-hour roster, including weekends and public holidays when applicable. Operators enjoy an excellent work-life balance, typically working an average of 32 hours per week while receiving full-time equivalent pay. This unique arrangement provides above-award remuneration in equal weekly payments.

Candidates must be committed and available for all rotating shifts.
