We are currently working with a leading Builder / Developer who are looking to recruit a Construction Manager for their Australia and NZ Operations.
Projects are that of an Industrial and Agricultural nature.
This role reports directly to the CEO to provide expert advice across construction, compliance and regulatory matters.
You will be responsible for greenfield and brownfield development and maintenance of the assets of the Group.
Our client is expected to have significant growth of operations in both New Zealand and Australia, and the successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring that planned growth objectives are achieved on time and on budget.
Role And Responsibilities
Development and expansion of agricultural activities across NSW, VIC and NZ.
Managing key relationships with stakeholders including processers and customers, WHS, trades, regulatory bodies and employees.
Oversee the onsite construction management of multiple agricultural developments in multiple locations.
Oversee civil design, electrical design and water (hydraulic) design and implementation.
Quote, tender and manage numerous sub contractors.
Lead the Construction Team of Supervisors.
Proactive enough to be hands on but still able to undertake preconstruction design and planning.
Travel between regional VIC and NSW.
Providing strategic leadership and direction across multiple projects.
About You
You are a proven leader with extensive experience managing large-scale, complex portfolios within construction organisations.
Your background could be from a range of diverse sectors, including commercial, industrial, institutional, and government projects.
Key Attributes
Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills.
A track record of delivering multi-million-dollar projects successfully.
Passion for mentoring and building high-performing teams.
Commitment to fostering a collaborative and inclusive culture.
Flexibility to travel and multitask.
Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Engineering or similar.
Experience working on new build construction projects - Industrial, Commercial, Residential etc.
Demonstrated experience in functional briefs, consultant scopes and engagements.
