**About the Opportunity**
A Resident Liaison Officer (RLO) supports residents to maximise their independence and ability to remain living in their home, by working collaboratively with residents, their carers, families and advocates as well as other ECH business units. This is a highly mobile role, dedicated to visiting our independent retirement living villages.
Your time will be spent developing connections whilst supporting residents, responding to concerns and feedback as well as conflict management and negotiation. No two days are ever the same.
**About You**
You have experience in negotiating difficult situations with empathy and integrity.
With a keen understanding of older individuals' needs, you can build trust, listen well, and present calmly to deliver a quality service to our residents.
You are kind, even when a bit stressed out, dynamic and energetic. You are also flexible and adaptable to change.
You are passionate about caring for people in the community and will contribute your ideas and hard work to make ECH better every day.
**About Us**
At ECH, we're proud of what we do, how we work together and the impact that we have on people's lives. We believe that our people drive our success and how we work together is as important as what we deliver. We are integrating work and life and embrace technology and new ways of working to support a new level of flexibility for our people.
We're always in search of new ways to improve the lives of older South Australians. To achieve this, we grow our people. Everyone has the opportunity to grow, develop and build their career with ECH and to take part in continuous learning, because we know it makes us better. We also seek out and celebrate diversity in all its forms and tap into the richness of ideas, experiences and perspectives that it brings.
**Some Perks for You**
As part of a not-for-profit organisation, you will be able to salary package up to $18,549 per year to reduce your tax. We also offer a range of other benefits such as paid parental leave, EAP, discounted gym membership and discounted health insurance.
