**_About the Role: _**
As a Business Development Representative, you will develop the core skills and knowledge for a career in Sales and Customer Success. We are looking for hard-working, self-motivated individuals who want to grow their talents in business and a future in Software and Technology. While you will be working as a part of the greater Public Sector team, this role will focus on the Nonprofit and Education vertical.
**_Day to day, you will be: _**
- Researching new business opportunities, and working closely with some of ANZ's best Software Account Executives
- Conducting inbound and outbound calls with prospective customers
- Driving meeting and engagement opportunities
- Lead discovery calls, to understand prospective customers' unique needs
- Champion event registrations and attending those events
- Attend team days, volunteering events, office collaboration and learning sessions
- Develop your knowledge and practical skills through our structured onboarding, coaching and tools such as "Trailhead"
**_What we are looking for: _**
- Experience in Sales - retail, hospitality, and recruitment experience are all considered
- Specific Sector experience eg. Health, Nonprofit Aged care, Government and Education
- Interest in helping organisations multiply their impact through technology
- A Growth mindset and solution-focussed approach
- A desire to work in the NFP or Education sector
- "Tech savvy",and curiosity about technology and software
- Proven record of success
- Resilience
- Hunter's motivation and mentality as well as a self-starting attitude
- Motivation when working in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment
- Proficient in running challenging time-sensitive tasks
- Proactive and comfortable stepping out and taking initiative
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills
