The OpportunityAn opportunity exists for a RATIONAL – Corporate Chef to join our RATIONAL AUSTRALIA team based in our Brisbane office and demonstration kitchen located in Morningside.Reporting to the local Business Development Manager & General Manager - Rational Group, this role will draw upon industry experience and expertise to represent RATIONAL and Comcater products within the Brisbane and wider Queensland market.You will identify new business opportunities and build and maintain industry relationships with key food service operators and Chefs in the commercial kitchen segment, by offering high quality catering solutions using RATIONAL products.The role is B2B selling in a wholesale capacity to Retailers and Foodservice End Users.
If your skills and experience align with this description, please apply or visit our careers page at ResponsibilitiesIdentify, acquire and maintain long term customers for our products and services to achieve sales and gross profit targets for the product and region and deliver our promise of "Best Customer Experience"Deliver our RATIONAL Cooking Live presentations & customer training programs both internally and externally with our business partners.Prepare call plans to achieve weekly, monthly and annual objectives relating to RATIONAL Group target markets and complete monthly Sales activity reports.Use our Salesforce database to manage customers and activities involved in the sales process.In conjunction with the RATIONAL team - support, promote and implement initiatives to enhance the company's market position and to achieve sales growth.A bit about youQualified Chef with extensive industry experience and a strong network of contacts (experience at a senior chef level will be highly regarded).
You have the ability to build rapport with clients and achieve targets and can confidently demonstrate, offer and implement food service solutions using RATIONAL.You are a great communicator and have strong negotiation skills, fluent verbal and written communication skills.You have sound computer skills at an intermediate level, experience with Salesforce or CRM systems will be an advantage.You are a people person, you enjoy educating and training and have a desire for a career in sales based on your experience working in commercial kitchens.Local and occasional Interstate travel is required to establish a strong network and contact base, and to execute monthly sales activities.We offer market leading experience, a company car, an employee benefits app, and a performance related bonus scheme.How to ApplyApply now by providing a cover letter and resume to join an expanding company and leader in the industry.Note: This description intentionally focuses on responsibilities and qualifications relevant to the role.
