We are seeking a
**Sales Team Leader **to join our newly created Literacy Sales team. This team will focus on literacy solution-based selling across strategic accounts in Australia, with the intention of driving large growth and adoption of 3P literacy solutions across an assigned territory. The Sales Team Lead will lead the day-to-day activities and people management of a team of Business Development Managers, they will also hold an individual sales target managing New Business activity within an allocated territory.
**How you will make a difference?**
- Work with the Business Development Manager's within their team to deliver the new business sales plan for their allocated APAC region
- Guide the Business Development Managers in their teams to achieve growth targets for identified key clients
- Support the ongoing capability build and development of team members
- Meet and exceed individual business development and key client new business sales targets within their territory
- Proactively target, prospect and develop client relationships based on an individual Territory plan
- Make connections with key decision makers and provide solution based outcomes
- Focus on lead management, targeted outreach to prospect clients, and continued pipeline add
- Engage in key calls/meetings as needed
- Create custom solutions as needed from outreach to prospect conversion to drive large scale growth within the given territory
- Demonstrate multiple product value and solution based sales of literacy products in portfolio
- Strength in negotiating and closing contracts while maintaining a customer-centric approach
- Achievement of individual and team KPIs and sales metrics
- Strong communication and effective partnership with Marketing, and Customer Success team
- Ability to establish and build client relationships while successfully communicating 3P's value proposition
**What you will bring with you?**
- Solid experience in new business and/or inside sales success, achieved in a SaaS company or in the K-12 Education sector
- Proven experience in the delivery of successful business development strategies at an individual and team level
- Proven experience in developing successful new business sales strategies at a school and regional level
- Experience in leading and coaching individuals to meet and exceed targets
- Experience in understanding, measuring, and attaining KPI and sales metrics to ensure ideal focus and deliverables
- Forecasting and pipeline management skills
- Broad business and sales acumen
- A customer centric approach, great at building effective relationships
- Passionate about helping others to achieve, a strong coach and mentor
- Experience using Salesforce and Salesloft (desirable, not essential)
