Staff Coordinator Officer

**Employment Type**: Part Time 20 Hours per week (3 months probation)

**Award**: Clerks - Private Sector Award 2010

**Classification**: Level 2 - Level 4 (Demonstrated Experience-dependent)

**Roster**: Weekday, Evening, Weekends, Public Holiday (Rotating Roster)

**Location**: Narre Warren

**Review Periods**: 6-month increments

**Who are we looking for?**
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Staff Coordination Officer to join our Coordination Team, with an immediate start. The Staff Coordination Officer plays a key support role in ensuring workforce planning requirements are being upheld efficiently and ensuring compliance with staff engagement and employment parameters is adhered to by support staff. The Staff Coordinator Officer is the first point of contact with our clients and provide front line support to both support staff and service partners.

**What's involved?**
- Provide direct support to the Service Coordinator with respect to assisting in filling vacancies and general staffing issues associated with rosters in a timely manner
- Build strong rapport with support staff and clients to maintain efficiency in allocating shifts in a timely manner
- Provide consistency in approach to rostering requirements which ensures standards are maintained in terms of fairness and suitability, profile matching against the needs of the clients' requests by liaising with the Staff Engagement Team.
- Problem solve to ensure a variety of complex shifts are filled both on an ad hoc and advance notice basis
- Administration of all leave requests, timesheet approving, staff availability and maintaining the upkeep of all staff compliance (employment engagement)
- Provide support to staff whilst engaged on shift and escalate issues in a timely and efficient manner to the Staff Coordinator.

- Demonstrated commitment of high quality customer service (verbal and written)
- Be a professional and mature minded individual who is self-motivated and highly process oriented with attention to detail
- Demonstrated prior experience to make effective decisions by ensuring suitability assignments are applied
- Demonstrated prior experience in a similar role with an understanding of the principles of employee rostering
- Prior experience in a 24/7 operation or a time sensitive operation, fast paced environment
- Strong numerical skills with experience in data analysis an advantage
- Strong IT skills including the use cross platform integrations
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Excellent time management skills
- Prior experience in leading a team members towards common goals
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Have a calm disposition with the ability to multitask and prioritise

- Have a current and valid Working With Children Check (Employment)
- Have a clear and willing to undergo a National Police check
- Available to work Evening, Weekends, Public Holidays when required or on a rotating Scheduled assignment
- Qualifications in Community Services (Cert IV Minimum) - OoHC experience highly desirable
