About the Role:
TP Human Capital is looking for aSafety and Compliance Officer.
This role focuses on ensuring the safety of all staff and contractors.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining compliance with safety regulations and promoting a strong safety culture.
The initial contract is for6 months, with possible extension.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor adherence to safety processes
Conduct regular site inspections and safety audits.
Oversee contractor compliance and provide guidance.
Investigate and report incidents and near-misses.
Maintain accurate safety records and documentation.
Conduct or prepare content for toolbox meetings
Provide recommendations for improving safety management systems.
Essential Skills and Experience:
Strong understanding of WHS principles and regulations.
Proven experience in safety roles, preferably in construction environments.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently
