Position Overview
Parabellum International is seeking a qualified Safety Advisorfor a contract role on amine site in the Northern Queensland region.
This is aFIFO position from Townsville, operating on an8/6 rosterwith12hr day shifts only.
The role offers competitive rates and the opportunity to support safe and compliant operations within a dynamic mining environment.
Key Responsibilities
Implement and maintain site safety management systems
Conduct safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments
Provide safety training and deliver toolbox talks
Lead incident investigations and reporting
Support compliance with workplace health and safety legislation
Promote a positive safety culture across site operations
Qualifications & Requirements
Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety (OHS) – minimum requirement
Demonstrated experience in safety auditing and training delivery
Knowledge of workplace and construction safety procedures
Strong communication and advisory skills
Ability to work independently within a site environment
Experience within mining, oil & gas, or construction industries is desirable
