- About the Role:
As the Manager of Wholesale Pricing you will play a key part in the Integrated Portfolio Planning team through managing and delivery of wholesale products and pricing of AGL's business and consumer segments. You will lead and develop the Wholesale Pricing team, monitor current and emerging regulatory changes and ensure compliance with the Wholesale Market Risk Policy. You will maintain strong and productive relationships across relevant stakeholders in the Trading, Origination ad Business and Commercial Customer divisions, demonstrate strong commercial acumen, and demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills.

What you'll be doing:
- Manage, coach and develop a diverse team of pricing analysts, providing clear vision, direction and prioritisation for the areas of focus and key deliverables.-
- Contribute to the trading strategy working cross functionally with stakeholders to develop an integrated strategy for the planning and support of AGL's initiatives.-
- Drive ongoing performance across the group to develop a high-performing and efficient team.-
- Research and implement continuous improvement initiatives for relevant market, industry and consumer trends and analyses that may impact on strategy and performance.-
- Drive gross margin through the provision of cost reflective wholesale transfer prices and structured product development.-
- Lead strategic analysis and/or implementation as required on pricing methods, portfolio optimisation and customer and market insights.- About You:
You will have a good understanding of energy trading and wholesale markets, with an interest in improving processes through detailed analysis, technology and systems. Most importantly, you will be an inspiring leader that can get the best out of a high performance team and the broader stakeholders that you interact with.

What you'll bring to the table:
- Relevant tertiary qualification, such as a degree in Commerce, Mathematics or Engineering.-
- AFMA accreditation, or be willing to obtain it within 12 months of commencing in the role.-
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in energy trading and risk management-
- Able to perform critical thinking, decision making and manage competing priorities in a high-pressure environment.-
- The ability to effectively convey complex data, analytical and modelling insights to a broad range stakeholders.-
- A demonstrated capacity to influence outcomes within your team and the Integrated Portfolio Planning stakeholders.- #LI-Hybrid #LI-NG1
