THE JOBDue to continued growth and opportunity the Business Development Manager shall be responsible for growing the General Admission Events, Attractions and Sport division by identifying new business opportunities within key verticals, establishing relationships with key contacts within target organisations, and expertly presenting Universe and Moshtix technology, products and services.The candidate will naturally be driven by opportunities to create value and develop relationships with clients that yield results.
This position requires a passionate, experienced and well-connected professional who can find creative solutions to commercial challenges, and who is capable of delivering profitable opportunities, which continue to grow our market share in this very important and unique sector.THE TEAMYou'll be joining the Business Development team at Moshtix & Universe, who are responsible for ensuring we secure new business opportunities, as well as renew existing business, by establishing and nurturing positive key stakeholder relationships with our client base.
You'll also be working as part of our General Admission Events, Attractions & Sports division, which focuses on touring exhibitions, immersive events, and a variety of food, beverage and lifestyle eventsYour core focus will be generating new ticketing business across a range of diverse events and live experiences, ensuring we retain our leading position in the lucrative event ticketing market.Your naturally outgoing personality will need to shine through at all times.
The successful candidate will have a proven new business sales track record backed up by achievements against targets ideally in the ticketing industry and a strong network of existing relationships.WHAT YOU'LL BE DOINGYou will serve as a key driver of new business opportunities, accurately identifying opportunities of scale, assessing viability and risk of projects, formulating commercial proposals in line with current business strategy, negotiating deal terms with clients, and successfully seeing deals through to signature.You'll explore and deliver creative solutions to increase profitability from new and existing clients across a range of businesses operating in the Events, Attractions and Sport division.You'll evaluate clients' needs to be able to recommend suitable ticketing solutions, from General Admission events through to complex Timed Entry exhibitions, taking the conversation from initial pitch through to handing over to internal teams to implement these solutions.You'll be able to demonstrate detailed knowledge of the Moshtix & Universe offering to allow for effective presentation of company technology, data analytics, marketing reach and client services.You will engage with clients and prospects regularly to grow our footprint, client base, ticket sales and brand awareness within your given territories.You will maintain a detailed knowledge of the industry and , as well as maintaining a presence at industry and client events to develop your network ofcontacts.You will work with your line manager to identify and follow up prospects, and develop, support and maximize revenue opportunities from new and existing clients, providing high level support to clients as they implement new solutions.You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver client objectives, , ensuring internal teams are appropriately briefed, and able to meet deliverables.You will show leadership within Moshtix & Universe to safeguard that clients are happy with our service and that revenue for both clients and Moshtix & Universe is maximised, working closely with all departments to ensure the smooth operation of our clients' business.You will work with B2B Marketing teams to create customised sales and marketing materials to suit clients.You will work to meet targets for new business and client renewals, as well as targets related to the adoption and implementation of ancillary products and client tools.Sign a given number of new annual tickets for the business from new clientsRenew 90% of contracts up for renewal within each calendar yearIdentify minimum of 4 new viable leads of significant scale per monthYou will maintain accurate records of all of the targeted areas of the business and be able to provide accurate reporting to senior management, as well as logging relevant activity in Salesforce.
