Your opportunity:
Embedded within the Corporate Affairs function, our Innovation, Research and Development team are a passionate and dedicated group, responsible for investigating and developing innovative solutions to address business challenges across our core services.
Using business and customer data the Innovation Development Business Partner role focuses on enhancing core business practices via accelerated innovation development and adoption practices. This role will assist the Innovation, Research and Development Manager with the development and deployment of core business innovations program while continually exploring opportunities internally and development partners externally to promote and position Urban Utilities as an innovation development partner of choice.
Key responsibilities include:
- Establishing a road map of core business innovation opportunities to strategically align to core business challenges.- Create frameworks and processes to support development pathways to ensure appropriate levels of governance and assurance are in place.- Broaden innovation deployment opportunities to partner with private sector to deliver on multiple shared challenge opportunities.- Manage and support Innovation Development Program and associated projects focussed on increased delivery of core business solutions- Increase use of customer and business data to support innovative product development enabling more agile approaches to implementation.
About you:
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, business partnering and development experience.- The ability to work autonomously as required to deliver on planned milestones- Program/portfolio management under pinned by assurance/quality control mechanisms- Relevant tertiary qualification in either a Financial/Commercial, Legal, Business, Engineering/Technology field- Understanding of Water industry practices and current operating environment (beneficial, but not essential).
