We're recruiting on behalf of a leading insurance client seeking a Risk Manager for an initial 6-month contract to support their enterprise and operational risk management functions.This is an ideal role for an experienced risk professional with a strong understanding of APRA and ASIC regulatory frameworks, who can contribute to risk oversight, reporting, and controls uplift across the business.
The successful candidate will join a collaborative risk team and play a key role in ensuring effective risk governance in a highly regulated environment.Key Responsibilities:Support the execution and enhancement of the enterprise risk management framework.Identify, assess, and monitor operational and emerging risks across business units.Conduct risk reviews and assist with control testing and assurance activities.Maintain risk registers and ensure timely reporting of key risk indicators (KRIs).
Contribute to incident and issue management, including root cause analysis and remediation tracking.Provide insights and recommendations to improve risk mitigation strategies.Collaborate with internal stakeholders to embed a strong risk culture.Support regulatory reporting and audit processes as required.About You:Demonstrated experience in risk management within financial services, ideally insurance.Strong working knowledge of APRA Prudential Standards and ASIC obligations.Experience in operational risk, risk assessments, controls assurance, and incident management.Ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment.Confident communicator with the ability to engage with senior stakeholders.Background in risk, compliance, audit, or finance is highly regarded.Why Apply?
