Velox here are looking for a Fulltime Vehicle Fleet manager and Administrator.

A fleet manager is in charge of anything and everything that involves Velox Transports fleet of commercial motor vehicles. They oversee fleet maintenance, the process of procuring and replacing vehicles, hiring drivers, etc.

The fleet manager must direct the following activities:

- Vehicle purchasing, insurances, rego, and mechanic checks
- X- Mechanic or Workers for Rental vehicle companies are ideal
- There will be manual labour involved such as washing some vans and preparing them for drivers.
- IF able to repair some small parts such as change side mirrors or taillights this would be a bonus.
- Must be Handy with vehicles and able to asses vehicles and have some understanding in the machinery
- Efficient asset utilization and maintenance and service management
- Experience in managing vehicle breakdowns, NRMA Roadside and towing procedures
- Vehicle inspection, transportation and maintenance
- Real-time vehicle location tracking
- Vehicle performance monitoring, record keeping, and improvement

A fleet manager reports on:

- Issues and bottlenecks detected in fleet operations
- Fleet's performance and expenses
- Budgets and major purchases
- Costs of fleet operations
- Plans and sets fleet-level targets

The Fleet manager will be require to manage mainly commercial vans and trucks, this can be increased to managing drivers leading to a higher role.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Afternoon shift
- Day shift

Supplementary Pay:

- Performance bonus
