**The Opportunity**
Mattel Australia & New Zealand are seeking a proactive and team-oriented Ecommerce Associate to join our Australia and New Zealand Omni-Channel Marketing team We are recruiting for a Maternity Leave Cover contract commencing mid December for a period of 13 months.
As an Ecommerce Associate, you will be** responsible** for:
**Ecommerce Execution - Co-develop and execute the Mattel ANZ eCommerce merchandising plan**
- Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to develop and execute the eCommerce merchandising strategy, focusing on key retailer and brand priorities using global best practices and local insights.
- Continuously enhance the eCommerce merchandising activation strategy, aligning it with brand and customer priorities while seeking process efficiencies through automation and new tools.
- Oversee the product data and enrichment process across key systems for retailer partners in Australia and New Zealand, ensuring brand integrity and consistency in product display.
- Manage accurate information flow between internal and external stakeholders to meet activation deadlines and facilitate timely asset delivery for retail partners.
- Conduct regular website audits to ensure consistency, accuracy, superior customer experience, and SEO optimization; compare online experiences with offline and assess competition.
- Contribute to eCommerce merchandising strategy by identifying opportunities to position Mattel as a thought leader with retail partners.
- Collaborate with the Insights & Analytics Manager to analyse post-campaign data and integrate insights into future eCommerce strategies.
- Present findings and eCommerce opportunities to wider teams and conduct training for new and existing team members on tools like Salsify.
- Manage the Shop Mattel platform, ensuring stock levels support new product launches and campaigns, while presenting marketing plans and post-campaign results.
- Support global and local teams in preparations for the Mattel Creations launch in 2025.
- Serve as the regional lead for Salsify in ANZ, ensuring effective use by Sales and eCommerce teams, and communicate feedback to global teams while attending regular meetings.
- Roll out Salsify across China, Japan, Southeast Asia, Indonesia, and India, emphasizing its benefits and time-saving features.
- Maintain relationships with regional and global teams, sharing insights and best practices with local teams.
**Team Leadership**
- Lead, mentor, and manage a direct report (eCommerce coordinator).
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment.
- Lead, coach, and grow the team to develop future leaders.
- Tertiary qualified in Digital Marketing, Communications or other business-related disciplines.
- Ecommerce experience desirable, preferably in a B2B environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to utilize data for accurate analysis and reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Comfortable using Digital Asset Management systems and third-party portals.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, dealing with multiple stakeholders and priorities.
- Effective interpersonal skills, able to develop working relationships at all levels.
