The Development, Design & Construction (DD&C) team brings our strategic vision to life by shaping, building and delivering our assets. From early-stage planning and design through to construction and handover, the team creates high-quality, sustainable, and innovative spaces that enhance the experience for our customers, retailers, and communities. DD&C ensures that our centres continue to evolve, stay relevant, and drive long-term value for the business.

**Day-to-day you will be responsible for**:
Development Executives guide DD&C projects across our portfolio. This means securing regulatory and co-owner approvals, managing budgets and SAP-aligned initiatives, and translating strategic masterplans into delivered value—ensuring each project drives asset growth and aligns with our long-term strategy.
- Lead projects end-to-end, from briefing through to hand-over.
- Secure approvals & funding by drafting enterprise briefs and obtaining sign-off from Asset Management, Group Ops, partners and regulators.
- Manage SAP roll-outs by implementing all SAP changes for DD&C, ensuring correct setup and data.
- Shape asset plans; feed into feasibility studies, disposals, acquisitions and long-term masterplans.
- Coordinate capital transfers such as handling leasing changes, renewals and downsizes for each asset
- Plan & prioritise balanced development and operational capital projects across multiple assets.
- Collaborate regularly to align scope, budget and timing with Finance, Legal, Planning, Asset Teams and co-owners.
- Lead forums: run DCMs, PCGs and project check-ins; resolve day-to-day queries and escalate as needed.
- You influence planning controls and local frameworks by managing council and state relationships.

- You use strategic tactics like market and portfolio insights to shape smart development recommendations and spot new ideas.
- You anticipate risks—whether regulatory, competitive or budgetary—and propose practical fixes.
- Using your commercial awareness, you balance cost, time and quality to deliver the best outcome for the business.
