**THE ROLE**
Reporting to the Residential Sales Manager, you will be working in a hands-on role managing a portfolio of key accounts within the residential building sector to expand our relationships, grow existing connections, and win new accounts to increase revenue for the department.

This role is responsible for (but not limited to):

- Managing a portfolio of existing accounts in the residential building sector
- Gaining referrals and expanding business from satisfied customers
- Expanding revenue by cross-selling and upselling product ranges and services to existing clients
- Site visits and audits responding to customer requirements
- Proactively confirm trends and identify preventative actions
- Pursuing priority opportunities within targeted segments and product ranges
- keeping abreast of product and market trends on a day-to-day basis to support being an expert adviser to your client
- Managing the preferred supplier agreement renewal process including
addendums and changes to existing agreements, including presentations to
the builders

**THE PERSON**
We are seeking an industry professional with a proven successful track record of managing a portfolio of key accounts with a methodical and driven approach to sales.

You will also possess:

- Proven experience in an account management and/or business development role
- A friendly and engaging demeanour all while being professional and genuine
- Ability to build and strengthen long-term business relationships
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to respectfully communicate ideas and information
- Capability to work with builders to develop collaborative marketing
campaigns
