**About the role**:
As the Service Delivery Lead (Community) you play a pivotal role in fostering growth and delivering individualised services to our Homecare clients. Reporting to the Health and Wellness Manager, you will be responsible for managing two supervisory direct reports, whilst supporting a larger team of indirect reports, comprising of passionate Support Workers and skilled Schedulers. Your leadership aims to inspire the Service Delivery and Scheduling Team, creating an environment that maximises opportunities for personal and professional development as well as contributing to the delivery of responsive and empowering services, aligning closely with BallyCaras' commitment to inspiring happy and healthy living.

Based in Scarborough, your role oversees ways in which we can carefully match our dedicated Direct Care Staff with clients across Queensland and Melbourne, optimise scheduled services, and foster a warm and compassionate community workforce. As the Service Delivery Lead, you will ensure staff are utilised in the most cost-efficient manner, by optimal use of the systems and processes, that ensure seamless service delivery, and best practice rostering approaches.

This role entails overseeing the CHSP Program and managing related agreements with PHN, while empowering team members to effectively handle the program's day-to-day operations.

**Skills and Experiences**:
**To be successful you will have**:

- Education, training and/or experience equivalent to a degree level in Aged Care/Community Care/Management/Nursing or Health Services.
- Proven effective management and workforce planning skills, emphasising teamwork, high performance, and excellence in service provision with experience or knowledge of best practices in successfully managing geographically dispersed teams.
- Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills, including interacting effectively with diverse stakeholders such as clients, families, community agencies, and professionals. Proficiency in conflict management is crucial.
- Computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office, client management, and rostering systems.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience of CHSP, reporting mechanisms, and Aged Care Quality Standards.
- Demonstrated experience in managing and leading a team of direct and indirect reports.
- Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams, senior executives and staff.
- Knowledge in interpreting Awards (Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Award) and Employment Legislation.
- Be willing to obtain a National Police Certificate through the BallyCara recruitment process.
- Two Covid Vaccinations as recommended by the Government guidelines.

**Desirable**:

- Cert IV Training and Assessment or experience with developing training needs analysis and programs that develop workforce.
