Offering a range of logistics services from warehousing, contract logistics, linehaul, intermodal transport, global freight forwarding and bulk logistics, we do logistics differently.

**The Opportunity**

The key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

- Overseeing transport and warehouse operations, ensuring safety and compliance with company policies and procedures
- Supporting the resolution of warehouse and logistics issues as they arise
- Ensuring all inbound and outbound stock is configured safely, accurately, and in line with customer service expectations
- Ensuring freight is delivered safely on time, and in compliance with company, customer, Chain of Responsibility (CoR), and NHVR requirements
- Manage and monitor staff performance, including KPIs, payroll, and leave entitlements
- Conduct proactive assessments of operations with the aim of enhancing efficiency and accuracy
- Building and maintaining strong working relationships with customers and internal Visy stakeholders
- Providing insights into the financial performance of fleet and site operations
- Recognize opportunities to improve current processes and revenue margins through P&L accountability

**What you will bring to the team**:

- Proven senior operational leadership within the logistics and warehousing industry
- Demonstrated experience in a comparable operations management role
- Strong knowledge of OH&S, Chain of Responsibility, and NHVR legislation
- Proficiency in systems such as SAP, MT Data, WMS, and TMS (desirable)
- Demonstrated success in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
- Excellent relationship-building skills with both internal teams and external partners
- A hands-on, tenacious approach with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
