Operations Manager

Based in Burleigh Heads, you will be responsible for overseeing all operational aspects of these high-profile events, ensuring they run smoothly and deliver an exceptional experience for attendees.
What you'll be doing Develop and implement comprehensive event operations plans to support the delivery of sports events Coordinate and oversee all on-site logistics, including venue set-up, staffing, equipment management, and health and safety Liaise with key stakeholders, including event contractors, venue managers, and suppliers, to ensure seamless collaboration and problem-solving Monitor event progress and make timely decisions to address any issues or challenges that arise Manage a team of event staff, providing strong leadership, training, and support Continuously seek opportunities to improve operational efficiency and enhance the overall event experience What we're looking for Minimum 2 years of sports event management / operations experience Strong organisational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritise and work effectively under pressure Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders Demonstrated leadership and team management abilities, including the capacity to motivate and encourage a team Flexible and adaptable, with a problem-solving mindset and the ability to think on your feet A passion for sports and delivering exceptional event experiences Australian work rights are required for this position What we offer A collaborative and supportive team environment Discounts on event tickets and merchandise About us The Event Crew is a leading provider of event management services, specialising in the delivery of high-profile sports events across Australia.
