The primary purpose of this role is to plan, organize, and lead the effective and efficient operations of the Repairable team.OverviewWe are committed to MissionZero and enabling customers to move towards zero emissions in mining and cement.
We need your skills, curiosity, and drive for change to fulfill our goal and help our customers produce the materials needed for a better future.ResponsibilitiesGuide R&R Technical Coordinator on priorities to meet customer expectations.Set priorities according to DIFOT and individual customer requirements.Engage internal stakeholders and remove barriers to satisfy customer experience.Customer-facing and WIP report functionality, including customer one-on-one bi-weekly meetings (BMA specific at this stage).
Develop WIP reports with weekly updates on the status of each job.Develop workshop capability, service, and tools in conjunction with Workshop Managers and RPLMs.Approve Strip Reports and MDR before submission.Seek to develop fixed pricing for strips and refurbishments.Schedule production orders while optimizing manufacturing efficiencies using agreed planning methodologies and tools.Create a high level of team spirit and engagement by fostering an open and trusting environment.Coaching and feedback; manage client relationship issues; escalate breakdowns, installations, and scheduled services with external stakeholders.What You BringEngineering degree or trade qualification preferred.Experience with ERP systems in a production planning environment.Good understanding of basic project management methodologies.Strong relationship skills in a business environment.Ability to work in a team or individually on multiple concurrent projects.Ability to deliver in a fast-paced, changing environment with high attention to detail.Good analytical and problem-solving skills.Prior responsibility for the profitability of a business center.Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.Team player with positive interaction with all team members.Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills to work with customers, sub-contractors, and other personnel.Good customer service, organization, multitasking, and time management skills.Ability to plan work effectively with minimal supervision and set priorities for personal goals.What We OfferCompetitive remuneration package.Work-life balance with a flexible work schedule.Development and training within a respected global OEM company.Salary packaging options to maximize after-tax income.Employee Assistance Program for employees and immediate family.Purchased annual leave options and Paid Parental Leave.Access to a recognition and benefits platform and involvement in community initiatives.Annual flu vaccination.As an equal-opportunity employer, FLSmidth embraces diversity and equality by promoting an inclusive environment.
